Half ice, half snow, this storm decorated the spring landscape unexpectedly in mid-April of 2020. This would also be the year of a drought, followed by Derecho in August that did some minor damage to these old Tamarac trees (we guestimate the trees to be 150-180 years old). The picture is not in black & white - it really was this gray that day.
